Goshen Girl Scout Troup 131 Hosts Senior Summer Luau
Goshen: July 21, 2017 – The Goshen Senior Community was recently treated to a Senior Summer Luau hosted by the Goshen Girl Scout Troup 131 at the Goshen Senior Center.
The event was organized by Payton Hilliard, Dana Poppe and Rebecca Serna as their Silver Award Project. The Girl Scout Silver Award is the second highest award of the Girl Scouts of the USA, and the highest award that a Girl Scout Cadette can earn. Only Cadette Scouts ages 11–14 or in grades 6-8 can earn the Silver Award.
That evening, the Goshen Seniors were treated to food and beverages associated with a traditional luau and were entertained with music, dancing and a variety of fun and games.
