Goshen Senior Center – February 2012 News

A member of the community has offered to donate a pool table in perfect condition. Before accepting this generous donation, I want to be sure it would be used. Please let me know if anyone would be interested in getting together with other Goshen seniors to play pool. I can make time in the schedule for regular games.

The Goshen Senior Center will once again be hosting AARP’s Safe Driving Course. The scheduled date is Monday, March 19. In case inclement weather causes the Center’s closure, the course will take place on April 16. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. Payments should be checks or money orders only made out to AARP. Call the Center to register (294-8545).

The book discussion will take place on Friday, Feb. 24. This month’s discussion will be about the book “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” by Seth Grahame-Smith.

Soup and Sandwiches will be available for lunch on Monday, Feb. 27 at 11:45. The cost is $6 which includes beverages. Sign up between Monday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 24.
